Why pay for things that are free?

The monthly calendar and beginners calendar costs $1 in this app (each month), when you could get them free on the blogilates website. I guess you pay for the convenience? I wouldnt mind paying for exclusive content especially because its so inexpensive but I wont pay for something thats free.
